Sentimental Christmas

There is nothing I love more than vintage Christmas paper and decorations.

When Stampin' Up! released this Designer Series Paper pack, called Sentimental Christmas, I was so excited, because it is right up my alley! VINTAGE looking!

Today, I saw this beautiful card created by Denise Cox of Birdsnest Design, and I knew I HAD to CASE it. I hope that you all enjoy this design.

Pumpkin Spice Season is Upon Us!

I love this time of the year because I love anything pumpkin/pumpkin spice! I went through the drive through at our local Starbucks the other day. I ordered a Pumpkin Spice Frapp and a slice of pumpkin loaf. The Barista looked at me when I pulled up to the window and said, "Ma'am may I ask you a question?" I said "Sure" and he proceeds to ask, "Isn't that a LOT of pumpkin?" pointing at my frapp and pumpkin loaf. I smiled and replied, "I love me some pumpkin!!" and drove off.

The conversation with the Barista made me think about my upcoming stamp class, and how I needed one more project for the ladies. I came home and found a card that I really thought was cute, using the More than Autumn stamp set and dies. So I took the idea and ran with it. I tweaked it to be my own. And to be honest, I loved the way mine turned out.

Needless to say, the ladies in class, were thrilled with the card design and asked to do another project with More than Autumn next month.

Magnolia Mood Wedding

For those of you that don't know, my husband and I have been involved with Dachshund Rescue (All Texas Dachshund Rescue) for 15+ years. We currently have two dachshunds in our care. One is an old man named Bat. Our vet just adores him. Today I had to take him in for his monthly pain shot (Labrealla) and she wanted to see him and do some bloodwork too.

I just found out yesterday, when I had one of our personal dogs in to see her, that she just recently got married. So I rushed home and made her a wedding card. All of the dogs and our cat signed it before we took Bat in to see her. (Forgot to get a pic of their signatures) She was very touched by the card and signatures.

This is the card I made for her.

I absolutely love the designs that are in the All About Autumn 6"x 6" Speciality DSP. I do not think that there is a design that I have not used!

For this month, I wanted to go with the pumpkins. The design is one that I could not stop thinking about or going back to. So I knew that I needed to create something with it. This card has actually been sitting on my desk for a couple of months, just waiting for the "right time" to send them out.
